Welcome to the Northern Elite Venom! My name is Randy Scrocca and I have been coaching soccer since 2010. Fall 2017 was my first season with the Northern Elite Soccer Club. My previous coaching experience was with the Hickory Recreation program, coaching multiple teams ranging in age from U6 through U13.  I currently coach the 2009 Northern Elite Venom and previously coached the Northern Elite Strike Eagle and Northern Elite Destroyers. 

My approach in coaching is to focus on teaching the players how to expand and apply their skills as part of a team in game situations. We focus on development of skills, soccer knowledge, game awareness and decision making. We promote the value of playing as a cohesive unit with all successes being shared as a team. Teamwork, good sportsmanship, selflessness, and respect for teammates, coaches, opponents and officials are stressed at all times.
