Coach Geoff Huebel has been immersed in the game of soccer since the age of five and has carried that passion throughout his life. A Harford County native, Geoff began his playing career in local recreational leagues before transitioning to travel soccer at age eight with the Bel Air Blue Devils. He later joined Northern Elite Soccer Club as a player and went on to compete at the varsity level for Patterson Mill High School, where he earned Offensive MVP honors as a freshman. In addition, he was invited on multiple occasions to train and play with Crystal Palace Academy.

Geoff brings over six years of coaching experience and is now entering his third year with Northern Elite Soccer Club. During this time, he has been mentored by Northern Elite’s own Franco Frisone, further shaping his coaching philosophy and player-development approach. Coach Geoff is committed to developing well-rounded athletes by identifying each player’s strengths and areas for growth, and by turning challenges into opportunities for improvement—both on and off the field. Above all, he believes the game should be enjoyed, and one of his core mottos remains: “Let’s have fun.”

This team is also uniquely supported by a dedicated Physical Therapist, Dave Bender, who works closely with the players on injury prevention and long-term athletic development. In addition, the team follows a structured off-season ball mastery program designed to build confidence, technique, and consistency.
